Frequently Asked Questions
What TradeAutopsy does today, what it never does, and what is not supported yet.
What is TradeAutopsy?
TradeAutopsy watches your trades in real time, spots revenge trading and loss chasing, and steps in before your next order. It has two parts: Station, the desk app on your Mac that connects to your broker read-only and watches your trades live, and Console, the web app for reviewing your trading history in depth.
Which brokers does TradeAutopsy support?
Live today: Binance.com (Spot, USDⓈ-M and Coin-M futures). Other brokers are not supported yet.
Does TradeAutopsy place trades for me?
No. TradeAutopsy never places trades for you. Broker connections are read-only.
What happens when TradeAutopsy steps in?
It scores five signals from your own fills: loss chasing, revenge trading, overtrading, sizing errors and symbol drift. As the score rises it first shows a notice, then a 90-second pause overlay, then blocks your broker’s API connections from your Mac. It doesn’t close positions, and it doesn’t block your phone. Your broker’s website or mobile app may still work.
Which computers does it run on?
Station runs on macOS. Windows — coming soon.
Can I track F&O trading?
Not fully yet. P&L-based analysis and interventions for F&O are not available yet.
How does the AI in Console work?
TAI, the assistant in Console, reads your own trade history and answers questions about your behavior and results. It is educational, not financial advice, and it never places trades.
How do I import past trades?
In Console you can upload a broker CSV export or contract note, or enter trades manually. Common Indian and US broker formats are detected automatically, and you can map columns for others.
How are my broker credentials stored?
Broker credentials stay in your Mac’s Keychain, and connections are read-only. We don’t sell your trading data.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can export your trades from Console.
