Create Upstox OAuth client credentials, register Station’s loopback redirect, paste as API Key and API Secret in Station, then authorize in the browser.

Upstox trading account and Developer Console app
OAuth client ID and client secret (Station labels them API Key and API Secret)
Redirect URL from this guide registered in Upstox app
Mac with TradeAutopsy Station

Station fields for this broker: API Key · API Secret.

Form labels say API Key/Secret; values are Upstox OAuth client ID and client secret. Register loopback redirect in Upstox developer app.

Paste this exact URL in your broker developer app. Station listens on loopback port 9140 for the OAuth callback.

Part 1: Get your keys from Upstox

2.Create or open your app. Copy client ID and client secret. Register the loopback Redirect URL from this page.

Part 2: Paste them into Station

3.Station → Brokers → Upstox. Paste client ID into API Key and client secret into API Secret.

4.Connect opens Upstox login in the browser; agent completes callback at the registered redirect.

Troubleshooting

Redirect URI mismatch: Upstox must list https://127.0.0.1:9140/api/daemon/broker/upstox/callback exactly.
Invalid client: Regenerate client secret in Upstox console if copy/paste failed.

Security notes

OAuth client secret stored in Keychain on your Mac.
Request read-only scopes where Upstox allows.
Hosted cloud does not receive client secret.
